Kyoko Yamamura, LMSW is a licensed social worker with clinical experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Her professional background spans healthcare, education, community-based services, mobile crisis response, and private practice, providing her with broad experience supporting individuals and families through emotional challenges across diverse settings. Kyoko has a particular interest in helping clients navigate trauma, multicultural identity, creative stagnation, and the many ways loss can shape our relationships, sense of self, and path forward.

Kyoko believes that healing begins with understanding each person's unique story and the cultural, relational, and life experiences that shape it. Drawing from trauma-informed, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and strengths-based approaches, she tailors treatment to each client's individual needs while fostering resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change. With a background in communications and a deep appreciation for creativity and storytelling, along with fluency in both English and Japanese, Kyoko brings a thoughtful, collaborative perspective to her work, helping clients integrate life's challenges with greater clarity, connection, and purpose.
