Hi and Welcome.
I’m Carolyn, the director and founder of The Center for Integrated Grief. A former hospice social worker, now a therapist in private practice, and a Fellow in Thanatology, the academic study of death, dying, and bereavement.
Though when we pause, it should actually be: dying, death and bereavement. And we want to pause. We want to look at things, examine them.
In our work, we believe in pausing and truly examining the process of dying, death, and bereavement. It is important to approach these difficult topics with intention and mindfulness.
As a therapist, I have a holistic understanding of the entire grieving process and I created The Center for Integrated Grief to provide support from a place of function meeting intuition. We utilize our clinical skillset and attune with our clients from a very human place.
Our appointments are virtual, and while we are based in Brooklyn, we serve clients all throughout New York State.
So, welcome. We are here to support you and serve you.
