Some examples of life transitions and non-death loss are: divorce, miscarriage/still born births, loss of job, loss of dream, loss of role

 

Forms of Grief

Traumatic: A complicated grief reaction that occurs following the traumatic death of someone close | Prolonged: An intense and persistent state of grief that interferes with a person's daily life | Disenfranchised: Grief that is not usually openly acknowledged, socially accepted, or publicly mourned | Physical: Processing the Pain of Grief - experiencing and working through the emotional and physical pain of loss.
